Violet flame that erases bad karma

The colour violet has always been linked to spirituality and higher consciousness. Of late the term ‘violet flame’ has been used by those who are concentrating on goals like self-transformation. Converting negative energy into positive will help seekers to grow spiritually and unburden them of the ghosts of the past.

Explains Neeraj Krishna, an alternative healing expert who conducts workshops all over the world, “The violet flame is actually a form of spiritual energy that has the power to solve problems and basically just make life easier. Sometimes this process is so powerful that it can help you alter your own karma by erasing the mistakes of the past.”
But how does one experience the benefits of this spiritual phenomenon? Sunita Vallabh Das, a reiki practitioner and a past-life regression therapy expert, says, “Violet flame is only a light. But what sets this apart from the other forms of ‘divine light’ that we experience is that this one can be experienced only by those who have reached a very high level of spiritual awareness. They are called the Ascension Masters. Spiritual leaders like Jaggi Vasudev and even divine beings like Lord Krishna are known to have experienced the benefits of the violet flame.”
One of the unique qualities of the violet flame is that it helps to heal a person both physically and mentally. “Those who have received benefits of the violet flame, through constant meditation and practice, are able to negate the effects of past deeds even before their consequences catch up with us in the present. This flame also has the power to heal various diseases, because often the root cause of various physical malfunctions are deeply rooted in our emotional and mental selves,” says Neeraj.
Any energy is made up of atoms that bring about a change in the person surrounding it. These, along with vibrations, are responsible for bringing about major spiritual changes in people. “This is exactly the way the violet flame works too,” points out Rashi Gupta, an alternative science healer. “When a person is full of negativity, the atoms in their body are weighed down by the negative energy and this in turn affects a person’s physical and mental state. When one experiences the violet flame, this energy is converted into positive energy and it opens up one’s chakras and pores to receive positive vibrations. This paves the way for self-realisation and self-transformation. The violet flame also helps to bring about a balance in one’s mental state.” Often, those who have seen the violet flame say that they are more at peace and are much calmer. This is because the flame produces a state of harmony.
Since the violet flame is a light that only highly spiritual beings can see, experiencing this is often referred to as alchemy. “That is because there is a total transformation in one’s personality after experiencing the violet flame,” says Sunita and she goes on to explain, “To see the violet flame, one needs to sit with a calm and clear mind in a place that is quiet and where one won’t be disturbed. Place your hands on your legs (you can sit cross-legged if you like) with your palms open and then chant a prayer, asking the higher beings to show you the violet flame and allow you to experience its magic. One needs to practice this several times before actually experiencing the flame. Another factor that plays a huge role in experiencing the violet flame is to actually visualise it, remember you can never get what you cannot see in your mind’s eye!”

I want to begin with a little story that was told to me by a leading executive at Aptech. He was exercising in a gym with a lot of younger people.

Shekhar Kapur’s Bandit Queen didn’t make the cut. Neither did Shaji Karun’s Piravi, which bagged 31 international awards.
