CBI probe won’t stop us: BSY men
The B.S. Yeddyurappa camp has decided to continue the battle to unseat Chief Minister Sadananda Gowda, irrespective of the decision the Supreme Court takes on the CEC recommendation for a CBI probe against him. Sources said that even if the CM remains firm on his stance not to convene a legislative party meeting, Yeddyurappa loyalists will not give in. They have decided to take the battle to its logical end by continuing to demand a top position for him.
The sources said BSY loyalists suspect that without instructions from party national president Nitin Gadkari, the CM and party president K.S. Eshwarappa would not have written such a letter against Yeddyurappa and his six supporting ministers. Without waiting for the central leadership’s decision on the leadership issue, BSY loyalists have decided to hold parleys at his residence from Friday. Supporters of the former CM have already contacted party MLAs, asking them to come to Bengaluru, sources said.
