Pascal seeks DNA reports
Pascal Mazurier, Chief of Joint Chancellery, Consulate of France, accused of raping his four-year-old daughter, has sought copies of the reports on DNA tests conducted on his blood and semen samples.
“Mr Mazurier has petitioned Cubbon Park police seeking the reports,” police said.
Mr Mazurier, who had earlier petitioned Police Commissioner Jyothiprakash Mirji seeking a detailed probe, pointed out that the DNA test report had revealed that the stains on the clothes of the victim matched the DNA sample of the accused, but not the swab taken from the child.
He wondered why his wife, Suja Jones, was not trying to trace the real accused in the crime.
