Cricketer Rahul Dravid inaugurated the 20th anniversary celebrations of Youth Club of Mysore Zoo, here on Sunday.

He said he has been visiting the zoo since he was seven years old along with his father and it that it has not just been a place to relax, but also a place of learning.

Dravid said students trained at the club should act as environmental ambassadors and they should serve as volunteers at the zoo.

They should impart that knowledge to their friends in schools and colleges and contribute in in protection of environment, the cricketer added.
