Seven men held for raping, killing man
Seven men, who gangraped another man and crushed him to death fearing disclosure over 10 months ago, have been arrested by the HSR Layout police. The police said Mohammed Mohsin (28), a homosexual and a lorry driver, was found dead in August 2011 at an isolated place in Haraluru village.
The police found that he was a homosexual and were interrogating his friends when they came across Nandjunda, who had a regular sexual relationship with Mohsin. Nanjunda confessed to the police that on the day of the murder, after the act, he called his friends Soma, Girish, Mohan and Sudhakar, who too raped the victim. They called two other friends Ambarish and Prabhakar, who too sodomised Mohsin. After the rape, they were scared that the victim would report the incident to the police crushed his head with a stone. All the accused have been arrested, and have been identified as Ambarish, Prabhakar, Nanjunda, Girish, Soma alias Somashekar, Mohan Kumar and Sudhakar.
