Students slam KEA on Facebook wall
The Karnataka Examination Authority’s (KEA) Facebook page has opened a flood of comments from students, who slam the authority for faulty evaluation, problems with answer scripts and other issues. The students have pointed out how even the OMR answer scripts, which were supposed to be error-free, are fraught with mistakes. Looking at the number of comments, the page on the social networking site has become a hit.
KEA, which conducts the Common Entrance Test, launched the Facebook page to keep the students updated about its decisions and important events. Launched last month, it has been attracting a lot of parents and students, who have realised that their problems could be heard with posts on the page.
The students and parents said that earlier too they faced problems, but they went unheard. “Complaints like errors in valuation work and others are lodged on the Facebook wall. As KEA has introduced the online counseling system for the first time, students are posing several questions,” said Ramesh S.R., a career consultant. KEA has put out the list of students who are allotted ranking on its website with their registration numbers.

Tejas Anilkumar: As per the KEA, the CET answer key for the 51st question in physics, version a-4 is option 2. In spite of marking the same answer, I haven't been awarded the mark..... Please award me the mark n revise my ranking ...one mark can make a huge difference in my rank...!! my CET number is BZ045...Please help!!

Anshika Raina: Hi , My brother Akshay Raina has not got the rank for engineering as his QE (12th board) marks are not updated there. His roll number is BG693 . We have been calling on the Cet enquiry numbers 080 - 23462599,23462758,23461575,23564583 , But there has been no response at all.
Shamith Kumar: i chekd d student copy with d answerkey given in kea.kar.nic.in ...i am supposed to get 21/60 in chem and 24/60 in maths.....bt got 19/60 in chem and 22/60 in math...wt do i do??...
Kavya Shree: Few questions in PCB steam have ambiguous answers ....Any chances of getting grace marks??? Atleast correction in those keys is expected!!!
