Team Anna fights on; police issue warning to IAC Bengaluru

In Delhi, the failing health of the fasting Team Anna members Arvind Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia and Gopal Rai, is causing concern, while in Bengaluru, a volunteer, Neelam Krishna, was forced to break her fast following warnings from the State police.

The condition of 32-year-old Ms Krishna turned critical yesterday, but despite repeated requests from the organisers of India Against Corruption (IAC), she refused medication. Today, the police told IAC to get medical help immediately. According to IAC sources, Ms Krishna was admitted to hospital and forced to break her fast. Thirty-two people went on a protest fast on July 25. By August 1, many have had to desist due to deteriorating health. There are 10 persons still continuing with the fast. IAC member Prithvi Reddy said the fast will continue.
