‘F.a.l.t.u isn’t faltu’
Choreographer Remo D’Souza’s directorial debut F.A.L.T.U, set for release this weekend, has been the talk of the town of late, be it for its fresh look or for the unique title D’Souza has chosen.
“My friends always ask me why I chose this title. I gave it this title because often that is what you are called by everybody around you. I was myself called a faltu. My parents told me I was faltu since I didn’t do anything. But I had the confidence in myself and I worked hard for it. Faltu se ek bada faltu banke dikhaya,” he says.
The film, Remo says, is quite similar in nature. “It’s the story of four kids who prove themselves to their parents and to the audience,” he explains.
