‘I want to work with her again’

After more than a decade, they are seen together again. Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan, last seen in Karan Johar’s Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, have shared screen space once again, albeit only for a television commercial.
Hindi cinema’s golden couple, who in their prime featured in some of the most iconic films like Zanjeer, Abhiman, Chupke Chupke and Sholay, haven’t been seen on the silver screen since 2001’s K3G. But now that they have appeared together, Big B says it might be a sign of better things to come. “We have done lots of films together and we were thinking we should stop doing films with each other. But when we started working in this advertisement, we realised that we should do more films together. It looks like in times to come we will work together in some films too,” Amitabh said.
