Aamir wants your feedback
The wait for Aamir Khan’s first film in over a year, Talaash, may have increased by a few months, but Aamir is not the type to let precious time go waste. The latest buzz is that the interim few months will be utilised for showing the film to “focus groups” and gauging reactions.
Apparently, Aamir and director Reema Katgi will hold four screenings and the feedback they receive will determine how the film shapes up. Aamir had tried such tactics before for 3 Idiots and Taare Zameen Par as well, but this time, given the additional time at hand, the screenings will be more intensive. “There is a very stringent mechanism being used to identify the people who would be watching the film, as Aamir doesn’t want the suspense element to go out. However he doesn’t wish to include ‘yes men’ either,” says our well-placed source.
Reema too is looking forward to the exercise. She said, “I am expecting these hand-picked focus group members to be honest and sincere. Fingers crossed.”
