Abhay enjoys big brother role

Having wound up Shanghai, Abhay Deol’s moved on to his other film, Chakaravyuh. Abhay’s been shooting round the clock, but you won’t find him complaining. The actor admits that his life revolves around work and family.

And while we’re on the topic of family, mentioning the upcoming nuptials in the family (Esha Deol’s high profile monsoon wedding) is sure to get an animated response from the reclusive Deol.
So will this doting cousin take time out to bless Esha’s union with Bharat Thaktani?
“I wouldn’t miss it for anything,” says Abhay, adding that while he may not be able to make it to the pre-wedding celebrations, he certainly will be there for the grand ceremony itself.
The buzz is that a lot of people from the Deol clan will be performing for the sangeet ceremony. Is Abhay too rehearsing for his act? “I’m too shy to dance,” he dimples. “I wish I had the courage to dance in front of my family. But the thought scares me. I’ll be there to oversee the activities and play the brother.”
