Abhay heads to SA with girlfriend

Abhay Deol might be keeping a low profile after his brief appearance in Raanjhana, but things are looking up in the actor’s personal life. Last week, Abhay whisked away his girlfriend Preeti Desai for a vacation to South Africa. “It was supposed to be an official trip for Abhay, but he decided to extend his trip and asked Preeti to join him,” says a source close to the actor.
The actor has been on a week-long vacation in Durban. The two were spotted trekking at a popular safari in the country apart from spending time with close colleagues and friends. This also happens to be his first vacation in the past two years. “Abhay like the other Deols, is known to be shy and reserved. It’s refreshing to see him in his element,” adds our source.
Once back, Abhay is expected to hit the gym and tone his body for his upcoming film.
