Abhay likes it different

The decidedly different Abhay Deol had launched into film production very early in his career with a plan to make a film named Basra. However, the actor is finally calling it off. Abhay admits, “Basra is not happening. But definitely we are looking at other films for our production house. I want to do quite a lot. I want to do some more films that will help raise the bar. Here, we just make everything controversial. If they want to make it controversial, they use ‘sex’ to provoke, which I feel is the easiest way out. I don’t want to do that. I want to be provocative, maybe politically or I want to play with humour without being cute.”
