Abhay’s lost in the woods

What Aamir Khan can do, Abhay Deol can too right? And so it is that Abhay has suavely assumed the mantle of un-caped crusader, hitherto the sole preserve of Aamir. The noteworthy initiative that Abhay is supporting — protecting forests from being cut down for coal mining — is in conjunction with MTV and environmental activist group Greenpeace.

Abhay said, explaining his involvement, “I have visited the Mahan forests in central India and witnessed the impact of coal mining on the environment and people. We can’t stand on the sidelines anymore and let this devastation happen. We need to support people who are working towards saving the forest.”
Commendable Abhay. But a tiny, niggling voice in our head wonders, does this have anything to do with the fact that your film on the Naxalist problem is due for release?
