Abhay’s ‘West’side story

So we’ve all heard that Rani Mukherjee was in New York recently, for the India Day parade. Now while poor Rani garnered all the wrong attention for wearing a dress similar to one sported by Deepika Padukone at a recent party, Abhay Deol — also part of the Indian contingent — was quietly making some positive waves. “A few big brands in the West are interested in having Abhay as their brand ambassador,” says a source. “He had some hush-hush meetings with international publicists about this.” Considering the actor's lucky run, maybe he will finally crack the fame funda in the West too.
