Acting can wait for now

Farhan Akhtar, who began his Bollywood journey as a filmmaker and then branched out as an actor, wants to go back to his director days. Even though he has received great reviews for his stellar act in Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, Farhan doesn’t want to take up any more acting assignments as of now.
Currently, he is busy shooting for Shaadi Ke Side Effects with Vidya Balan. We also hear that he is working on a film that he wishes to direct himself.
“He received many offers from top filmmakers to act in their films but Farhan has consciously not taken up any acting assignment as yet. He is in the middle of finalising the script of his next directorial venture,” says a source close to Farhan.
Would be good to have the director back.
