After Siddharth, KJo to help Varun
After signing his Student of The Year star Siddharth Malhotra for a film with Parineeti Chopra, Karan Johar is now focusing a new project for which he plans to rope in his other “student” Varun Dhawan. According to close sources in Dharma Productions, KJo has promised Varun that he will be a part of his new project.
Varun, who is currently busy working on Ekta Kapoor’s film, is keen to work with his mentor again. “Karan is in the process of giving final touches to the script. The film is apt for Varun. Keeping his popularity in mind, the subject has to do complete justice to him. It’ll be a hardcore romantic film. A formal announcement will be made soon,” says our source. Karan has always been known to be a loyal friend and mentor. From Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Rani Mukherji to Siddharth and Varun now, the filmmaker has ensured that his favourites get the best of projects.
Even though he is only one film old, the young actor has impressed many with his script sense. “With the support of successful directors like my father and brother and a mentor like Karan, I think I am in safe hands,” Varun says.
