Ajay delays Himmatwala

While the positive feedback on the promos of Housefull 2 is keeping Sajid Khan happy, he cannot help being a little worried about his next film, the remake of Himmatwala. It’s been quite a while since the director had announced this film but was pressurised to delay it because making Housefull 2 took longer than he had thought. And now, it is Ajay Devgn’s packed schedule that’s delaying the remake further, adding to Sajid’s list of woes.
But not one to shy away, Sajid hasn’t given up hopes yet. “He is very gung-ho about the project and is definitely making it. With a producer like Vashu Bhagnani backing the film, all problems will be taken of,” says a source.
Sajid, however, denied that Ajay was delaying the film. “These rumours are baseless,” he clarified, insisting that the project is very much on. But, while Sajid doesn’t feel the need to give any further explanation, Ajay’s staff has revealed that they haven’t worked on the actor’s dates yet for this project.
So is it just wishful thinking on Sajid’s part?
