Ajay to play the lead in Bullet Train

It was earlier rumoured that Priyadarshan’s forthcoming project, Bullet Train, was a remake of the Keanu Reeves starrer Speed. However, the latest rumour doing the rounds is that the film is a take on the Hollywood film, The Taking of Pelham 123, which was released in 1974.
The movie was later remade in Hollywood in 2009 with actor Denzel Washington playing the hero and John Travolta the villain. In the Indian version, or rather, the Bollywood version, Ajay Devgn will be essaying Denzel’s role. The movie will also star Anil Kapoor and Suniel Shetty in pivotal roles, and is scheduled to go on floors in the first week of September.
According to a source, “The film will be shot on an actual subway train speeding from London to Glasgow. Vidya Balan and Kangna Ranaut are being considered for the female leads.”
