Ajay relies on Rohit

In the last couple of years there have been instances when director Rohit Shetty brought Ajay back in the reckoning whenever the going was tough for the latter. Currently, after two back-to-back flops — Tezz and Rascals — Ajay is finding himself in a similar spot again. His next film Bol Bachchan is up for release, and the actor is hoping Rohit repeats the successes of the Golmaal series and Singham.
A trade insider observes, “Ajay and Rohit have the knack of choosing good subjects and delivering crowd-pleasing entertainers whenever they work together. Theirs is the most successful actor-director pairing today besides Sajid Khan and Akshay Kumar who have delivered a hattrick.”
As of now, the film is being aggressively promoted but it remains to be seen whether it turns into box office gold or just remains a case of “bol bachchan.”
