Ajay wants to direct again

Some actors like to don many hats these days and Ajay Devgn is one of them who has always looked at experimenting with roles and trying his hand at direction. The actor, who has had hits like Raajneeti and Once upon a time in Mumbaai, which also fetched him critical acclaim is taking it easy now. He is currently shooting for Madhur

Bhandarkar’s Dil To Baccha Hai Ji and will start working on Prakash Jha’s Aarakshan by early next year. But, he wants to direct a film again. This time, Ajay has zeroed in on an emotional family drama which he wants to start by the end of the year. Our source said, “Ajay has three releases — Aakrosh, Golmaal 3 and Toonpur Ka Superhero scheduled to release later this year. On the personal front too, Ajay became a father for the second time. He believes the year has been lucky for him and wants to take his film on the floors this year itself. His debut directorial venture U Me Aur Hum did average business and he wants to make another emotional film as he considers emoting to be his forte.”
The film will be produced by his own banner and the script has been co-written by Robin Bhatt. The film will star Ajay with Kajol and will also have a young romantic pair, the casting of which is being finalised.
