Akki to act in Dhadkan 2?

Filmmaker Dharmesh Darshan who has been on a long sabbatical since his last blockbusters Raja Hindustani and Dhadkan, is gearing up to be back in action once again with a sequel to the latter.

Talking about the film he says, “I am both humbled and honoured to be making the sequel to this film. I wish to give it my all. To follow up on a movie that was once considered a classic is very challenging,” he says.
Confirming the news producer Ratan Jain adds, “A lot of people have been asking me about our plans to make a sequel to the film. I am happy to announce that we will go floors this year itself.”
The filmmakers however haven’t narrowed down on the star cast yet. We wonder if Akshay Kumar and Shilpa Shetty (who starred in the original film), will once again step in? Akshay used to be Dharmesh’s lucky mascot during the year 2000. One will have to only wait and watch to know if Akki’s on board once again.
