Akki surprises Ekta with a 10-day gift

That Ekta Kapoor rolls out the red carpet for her actors is well-known. But Akshay Kumar took his admiration for the producer a step further and offered her 10 days from his schedule even before she could ask for it.

Recently Akki saw the rushes of his starrer Once Upon A Time In Mumbai Dobara in her office. “Earlier the plan was to jump into the promotions of the film a few weeks prior to release. Ekta was, however, stunned when Akshay proposed the idea of starting the promotions 10 days before the days she had allotted. Despite being neck-deep in other work, Akshay will now exclusively work on this film,” says our source.
Akshay has just started shooting for his home production and to juggle between the two films will definitely be a task. “He is the kind of actor who is always coming up with ideas to enhance the film he is working on. Which other actor-producer will give 10 days to another producer just for his love and admiration for their film?” says our source.
