Akshay opts out of Faltu?

What is happening with stars these days? They all seem to be playing musical chairs with their movies? First there was all this speculation about Saif doing Vishal Bharadwaj’s Dream Sequence till he dropped out. Then there was no heroine available for the remake of The Italian Job with the ladies saying yes, then backing out. Now, Akshay Kumar it seems, after signing the film, has opted out of Vashu Bhagnani’s Faltu.

Our source said, “Akshay was not happy with the role and felt that if he had to make his presence felt in the film, he definitely required a meatier role.”
Interestingly, it was Sanjay Dutt who was to do his role earlier. But the actor opted out due to a tight schedule. Then Akshay was roped in and now it seems he too is backing out. The film is supposed to be a relaunch vehicle for Bhagnani’s son Jackky. The movie also marks the debut of ex Miss India Pooja Chopra as the heroine and launches choreographer Remo as a director.
