Akshay puts on his dancing shoes
It’s not usually his style, but Akshay Kumar is going to pull off a Salman-esque show with a larger-than-life dance sequence for his next project, Boss.
News is that he is teaming up with song director Sumit Dutt, one of Salman Khan’s favourites, responsible for hits such as Dhinkachika, Character Dheela Hai and Desi Beat among others. While Sumit will direct the song, ace choreographer Raju Khan will be doing the choreography for the same. The first part of the song has already been shot in suburban Mumbai and the second part is scheduled to be shot in Bangkok next month. Buzz is that a mammoth crowd of about 600 dancers and junior artistes will be part of the shoot.
A source close to the team said, “In the film, the song comes at a very crucial point. Akshay wants to make it his biggest and best song till date. He will be seen wearing an outfit designed by an international designer.”
The USP of this song will be Akshay’s dance moves. “It is the first hardcore dance number that he has done in many years. Unlike in the past, Akshay has personally monitored the development of this song. He will undergo serious dance training before shooting the the second phase of the song,” adds our source.
It will be interesting to see the action hero put on some dancing shoes now, won’t it?
