Akshay takes up city issues to promote his film

Akshay Kumar is leaving no stone unturned for the promotion of his film Khatta Meetha. The actor has been travelling continuously, promoting the film all over Maharashtra and other states, despite his hectic shooting schedules.
Sources say, “ Recently Akshay went on a three-day tour of Nagpur, Pune, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Delhi. Akshay plays a Maharashtrian character named Sachin Tichkule in the film. Hence, he is promoting it big time all over Maharashtra.”
And looks like his promotional activities might benefit the city too in more ways than one. Only recently as part of his campaign, he went around the city looking out for potholes that require attention. And now the actor is planning to distribute umbrellas to everyone.
“His character in the film has been shown using an umbrella quite frequently. So he wants to distribute the same as part of his campaign,” adds another source.
