Alia is the next ‘Bebo’ for Karan

Filmmaker Karan Johar, who launched Alia Bhatt with Student Of The Year, seems to be mighty impressed with his protégé. He recently made an announcement that she is the next Kareena Kapoor of the film industry. We hear that Karan, who is known to share a very brotherly rapport with Kareena, will now be shifting his focus to Alia and grooming her to be the next Bollywood queen.
“It’s a big compliment. Kareena is a perfect combination of beauty and talent. But I think every actor is unique and I’d be happier to make a mark for myself and create my own identity,” says Alia.
After having worked with filmmakers such as Karan and Imtiaz Ali, who have also been a huge influence in shaping Kareena’s career, the comparisons and expectations are inevitable. But from the looks of it, both Alia and her mentor Karan are confident of pulling it off.
