New YRF girl Parineeti Chopra seems to be the cause of her worry

The rise and rise of Parineeti Chopra hasn’t gone down well with Anushka Sharma.

The actress, whose last release Ladies v/s Ricky Bahl received a lukewarm response at the box office, is maintaining a carefully calculated silence as the industry, and especially the Yash Chopra camp continues to fuss over their new discovery Parineeti.
“It’s a phase every actor goes through from time to time and Anushka is mature enough to realise that. Of course, today it’s Parineeti who is hogging all the limelight but even Anushka has enjoyed that kind of success twice in her short career, first with Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi followed by Band Baajaa Baaraat. And she also has some meaty projects to look forward to. So I don’t think she has any reason to worry,” says an industry source.
In spite of that, Anushka has distanced herself from the media. Maybe she’s just waiting for the euphoria around her competition to settle down before she plays her trump card.
