Arjun adds to his fan club, and his kitty

We all know Arjun Rampal has more than his fair share of female fans, but now he’s adding several B’town directors too to his list. The latest to join the bandwagon is comedy baron David Dhawan. The buzz in the industry is that David was so impressed by Arjun’s cameo turn in the Ajay Devgn-Sanjay Dutt starrer Rascals that he now wants to rope him in for another project.
Says a close aide of David. “David was so touched with all the dedication that Arjun put into his cameo that he immediately planned another project — this time with Arjun in the lead.”
David, while not very forthcoming on the details of the future project, was more than willing to comment on his admiration for Arjun. “He’s a superb addition to Rascals, the surprise package,” the director says. “I think he has the right mix of Indian sensibilities and Western looks, and we’re working out an opportunity.”
