Arshad’s love causes traffic

Recently, Arshad Warsi decided to throw a huge party for his wife Maria Goretti on her birthday. It was a rather sweet gesture of course, until it ended up creating a traffic mess near Calangute beach in Goa.
Though Maria knew that they would be bringing her birthday in Goa, the fact that there were around 20 other friends who showed up from different parts of the country, was a big surprise for her. And Arshad, wanting to oblige all her female friends, ended up dancing with each of them, which resulted in one extended dance night where onlookers kept turning up by the dozen.
An eyewitness says, “After Arshad was through dancing with Maria, he invited the other women one after another and made them match steps with him and soon there were hundreds who had gathered around Fiesta, which was the party venue.” Soon traffic had stalled in the nearby areas and the situation got out of hand. “In fact, the cops had to be called to clear the traffic. Though Arshad did interact with his fans for a while, he had to make his way out soon as he had personal guests to take care of. For Maria, it was pretty much an extended celebration to see her hubby’s popularity”, adds the source. And Arshad of course is a happy man. “Ever since Maria has been joking that I still have it in me to cause traffic jams. I am flattered,” he says.
Just don’t get too excited Arshad.
