Arunoday: The hero in Heroine
He’s barely three-films old but Arunoday’s career graph in Bollywood is already replete with twists and turns. He burst into the scene with a chick flick like Aisha, followed it up with a casanova act in Mirch, and then went on to play a maverick gangster in Yeh Saali Zindagi. But now his fortunes are set to soar with Madhur Bhandarkar taking him onboard his ambitious project Heroine, along with Aishwarya Rai and Arjun Rampal.
“People like Madhur and Sudhir don’t really need to audition you after a point. They just take a good look at you, while talking to you and sense whether you are fit for the part or not. That’s exactly how Madhur chose me,” says Arunoday, whose favourite Hindi film is Madhur’s Chandi Bar. He is also extremely excited to have the opportunity to work with Ash. “I have always wanted to work with accomplished actors. It was a pleasure working with Chitrangada and Irrfan, I am sure it will be great working with Ash as well. I’m a blessed man surrounded by women who just render me speechless,” says the actor, who has also worked with Sonam Kapoor.
