Stars deal not just with their fan’s affection, but in certain cases, their obsessions as well. On a recent visit to Bengaluru, Asin had a tough time with a man who seemed determined to prove that he was the actress’ greatest fan.
Apparently, the fan landed up at the hotel where she was put up with a rather extravagant gift. “Asin was shocked when she realised that the man had bought an apartment house for her. He had the details written in a letter and sent up to her hotel room,” a source close to the actress told us. Asin obviously didn’t know how to handle such a delicate situation. “Asin appreciates the love people have for her but she turned down the gift as she clearly felt it was unethical to accept it,” her aide said.
Being a big star in the South and a successful actress in Bollywood, Asin’s popularity is at an all-time high. But she still doesn’t think accepting unreasonable gifts is par for the course.
