Azad goes to school, bodyguard in tow

On Wednesday evening, our photographer caught a glimpse of superstar Aamir Khan’s one-and-a-half year old toddler Azad Rao Khan going to school. Besides the nanny who accompanied him to the nursery school, there was a tall, beefy man following the youngest Khan of the industry.

We soon learnt that Aamir has hired a bodyguard for his son. “It is purely for safety reasons,” says a security staff member of Azad’s nursery school, on condition of anonymity. Incidentally, Sohail Khan’s younger son and Preeti Jhangiani’s son are little Azad’s classmates. But, unlike Mr Khan, the other kids don’t have the luxury of a bodyguard. Not yet at least. We are guessing it’s the “perfectionist” touch.
