B-town gears up for the big fight

It’s going to be a clash of the titans this Diwali. SRK and Ajay Devgn are gearing up to promote their respective magnum opuses — Jab Tak Hai Jaan and Son Of Sardar. And the first choice for promotion is of course, television.

SRK will be seen promoting it on KBC while Ajay will make a grand entry in the Bigg Boss house. Incidentally both the shows are aired at the same time. But there’s more to it than TRP competition. Salman who hosts Bigg Boss has bruised relations with SRK and Amitabh. Ajay on the other hand also does not share the most hunky dory equation with SRK, thanks to the latter’s association with wifey Kajol.
A certain section of the industry has been insinuating that the real issue behind the mucky war is to sabotage each other’s films. “Yes, it’s not just another war of being ahead of each other. It’s the clash of gigantic egos!” says a TV producer. But working in harmony was never Bollywood’s forte, right?
