Bebo and Saif help their friend

Kareena Kapoor was the one who started the trend of size-zero in the industry and to help her get in shape was her dietician and friend Rujuta Diwekar. And when it was time to return the favour, Kareena didn’t hesitate.

She along with her husband Saif Ali Khan has acted in Rujuta’s short film Indian Food Wisdom that will be out on DVDs soon. According to close sources Kareena’s sister Karisma Kapoor is also a part of the documentary film. Rujuta is thrilled that the star family has come together in her support. “I’m super excited that Kareena, Karisma and Saif are all a part of this film. It’s a casting coup of sorts! The film is about the importance of having healthy food and the impact it has on the way we look,” says Rujuta, adding that to rope in a good-looking family for the subject was like winning half the battle.
Kareena has been secretly working on Rujuta’s film for a while now. “It’s an innovative concept and they wanted to retain the exclusivity,” says a source close to the actress. A self-confessed health freak, Saif takes a keen interest in Kareena’s fitness regime. In fact, it was he who suggested that she needed to put on some weight to look healthy. The actor continues to endorse a healthy lifestyle and that’s the reason why he agreed to be a part of the film. Kareena, Karisma and Saif will launch the DVD this weekend.
