The woes just don’t seem to end for Madhur Bhandarkar. Less than a month after his magnum opus Heroine’s shoot was interrupted because Kareena Kapoor wished to spend time with beau Saif Ali Khan, who was then embroiled in his infamous assault case, there is another interruption which has come along.
Agent Vinod, Saif’s home production, is due for release in a week, but we’re yet to see any aggressive promotional activity. To correct this, Saif has pulled Kareena out of Heroine’s shoot. Her spokesperson, though, denies Bebo ever prioritised Agent Vinod over Heroine. “The aggressive promotions of Agent Vinod are scheduled to begin from this week. The marketing team had worked out her dates accordingly. None of the other films she’s working on will be affected,” she says.
But Kareena isn’t very pleased with these allegations. “She is a professional and all the films mean the same to her. Agent Vinod is close to her but people are making a big deal out of it,” says a source.
