Bebo’s mom pays her a visit on the sets

Her latest song from the film Heroine may have been termed “risqué” but that didn’t deter Kareena Kapoor’s mother Babita Kapoor from dropping in on the sets of her film, after more than a decade.
A crew member says, “Yes, Babita ma’am was there while the song Halkat Jawaani was being picturised. And it was not just for a fleeting moment — she stayed on for all of eight hours right up to the end of the shoot. She was seen chatting up with not just her daughter but director Madhur Bhandarkar as well.”
Being a successful actress in her heydays got Babita interested in a film that showcases the life of Bollywood leading lady. “The last time, she may have visited her daughter on the sets of her film was Refugee. It’s not something she usually does and this time she made an exception because she was plain curious to know more about the film,” the source continues. “She also wanted to know what Halkat Jawaani is all about and why is it making so much noise. Bebo seemed happy to have her mum with her as she made it a point to have a chat with her after every take.” We hope Babita went back home impressed.
