The Bhatts put their money on Raaz 3
When it’s a question of accommodating their favourites — Emraan Hashmi and Vikram Bhatt — Mukesh and Mahesh Bhatt will do absolutely anything. And proving just how much they trust the combined might of Emraan and Vikram, the senior Bhatts are throwing their weight behind Raaz 3, pitching it as their biggest moneymaker in the making. This, when it’s been just a day since the film went on the floors.
“Mukeshji has already confided to his associates that he thinks Raaz 3 is the project that will fetch them maximum returns. And when he makes a statement of that sort, you have to believe him. He’d said the same thing about Murder 2 last year, and it earned four times what it cost to make it,” a source from the Bhatt production house told us.
Previously, the Bhatts were so ecstatic with the script for Raaz 3 that they “gifted” it to Vikram on his birthday. “I am sure it will break all records that our films have set so far,” said Mukesh. “It’s just a natural progression: Before Murder 2 became our highest grosser, Emraan’s Jannat held the record.”
Considering Murder 2 made `50 crore, that’s some tall order, wouldn’t you say?
