The Big B lashes out

If there is one thing the Big B is known for, it is for being unfailingly polite. Whether it is his teeming hordes of fans, the people he comes across in his day-to-day life, the media or colleagues, Bachchan senior’s behaviour towards them is described as befitting a thorough gentleman. But this once, someone seems to have finally rubbed the Big B the wrong way. The iconic actor recently expressed his anger in no uncertain terms when a person impersonating him on a microblogging site made unflattering remarks about Shah Rukh Khan’s film, Ra.One.
On the eve of Diwali, when everyone was busy posting festive greetings, the Big B took to the social networking site to clarify that since he hadn’t even watched Ra.One yet, it certainly wasn’t him posting the negative comments. “AB has always handled situations in a cool way, but this once, the prank seems to have hit him hard,” says an associate of the superstar.
Big B’s anger may have something to do with the fact that there existed for quite a while, a rift between the Bachchan family and SRK — a rift that has only healed in the recent past. Raking up old rivalries is certainly not on the agenda for him. “AB really values SRK as a family friend, so no, he was not amused by what this impostor was trying to do,” our source added. “Even at his Diwali card parties at Jalsa, AB told all his guests not to believe what was posted online with regards to his supposed comments on Ra.One.”
