Big B lavishes praise on Dippy

On Tuesday evening, Deepika Padukone was busy dubbing and working on the final touches to her much hyped film Ram Leela, when she got a pleasant surprise that transported her all the way to cloud nine. Deepika received a message from Amitabh Bachchan on her phone. According to sources close to the actress, the Big B saw the rushes of Ram Leela and was impressed with Deepika’s work and her look in the film.
“Yes, it was a special moment for her,” said a friend of the actress. “A compliment coming from someone of the Big B’s stature means a lot. Deepika has worked really hard for this film and every bit of feedback makes a huge difference to her.”
Ram Leela has been in the news after certain political parties raised a ruckus over its title and certain visuals from the film. The film’s team though, are unperturbed by the controversies, with the Ram Leela promos garnering so much of positive feedback. “Deepika is really touched with the effort Bachchan saab made to share his feedback with her. She is an ardent fan of his films,” our source said.
