Big B not bigger than Sachin

Who’s the bigger idol of them all? For a rather long time, we’ve believed the big daddy of them all was Amitabh Bachchan. But if the number of followers a celeb has on Twitter is any indication, then the Big B may not be — well, quite as big. Not as much as say, Sachin Tendulkar.

When the Big B signed up on Twitter on Tuesday, he garnered a total of 37, 000 followers by the end of the first day. Not a bad number at all. But compared to Sachin’s 79,000, we’d say the Big B has a lot of catching up to do.
“Yipee! I am on Twitter. And you can follow me on @srbachchan. Love as always,” posted the Big B on his blog just after he signed up on Twitter.
Lending some much-needed filial support, Abhishek sent out a “Welcome Pa” message to the newest Twitter entrant.
