Bips takes off to Goa for her b’day

Bollywood is no less synonymous with acting as it is with partying. And each time a star celebrates his or her birthday on a large scale, they like to make sure that their party becomes talk of the town.

Staying true to the pattern is Bipasha Basu who flew to Goa on Sunday to bring in her birthday that falls on January 7. She has sponsored the party for around 15 close friends, which include Rocky S., Diane Pandey and her manager Tanuja among others.
Word has it that the party will go on till the next weekend and every small detail has been planned by her friends. Bipasha says that she loves having elaborate birthday celebrations. “I love celebrating my birthdays lavishly. I love living life queen-size. I have worked hard to achieve the comforts I have today and hence I feel I deserve to celebrate,” she says, adding, “Like every year, this year too I am celebrating my birthday with people who have stayed by my side through thick and thin.”
Last year it was Shahid Kapoor who had brought in his birthday in Goa and his party too had continued for a week. So, no prizes for guessing where Bips derived her inspiration.
