Birthday bash for Lolo, Bebo style

The bond between the Kapoor sisters Karisma and Kareena is well known, and Bebo has always made it a point to be present for Lolo’s birthdays. But this year, work played spoilsport. Busy shooting for Saif Ali Khan’s home production Agent Vinod in Morocco, Kareena had to break her lifelong tradition of celebrating her sister’s birthday.
Since Karisma’s baby boy is only three-and-a-half months old, travelling to Morocco was not an option for the birthday girl. But Bebo did not let her absence hinder her sister’s celebrations. A friend of the actress revealed, “Although Kareena missed Karisma’s birthday, she made sure to arrange a nice surprise for Lolo. Kareena had coordinated with her friends in advance to ensure that a birthday cake, flowers and a surprise gift were delivered to Karisma’s doorstep at midnight. Lolo was delighted when Kareena’s friends came calling at 12 am to wish her on her birthday.”
Kareena had earlier revealed that she hadn’t yet bought a special birthday gift for her sister. “There’s no time to breathe, forget buying anything. I don’t know if I’m coming or going,” Bebo had said.
“Kareena makes it a point to give priority to her work and family. She is currently focusing on Saif’s film as it offered her an interesting role that she has never attempted before,” her friend revealed.
