Bollywood waits for the iPhone 5

Actors and other filmi wallahs are known to wait with bated breath for their films to be released but there’s one more thing that seems to be getting them excited: The much-awaited launch of iPhone 5.

Despite a gruelling schedule in Chicago, that includes an accident that left actor Aamir Khan stunned, Uday Chopra, who is assisting in the shoot of Dhoom 3 couldn’t hide his excitement on Tuesday night. Resorting to Twitter to voice his eagerness, the Chopra scion said, “Ok (sic) and for my last and final tweet for today…iPhone 5 is gonna be announced tomorrow…Oh Joy!!! I will wait in line for it.” He’s not alone. Self-confessed gizmo-freak Neil Nitin Mukesh too was found asking around about the phone’s release. All top-rung actors in the industry are iPhone and iPad loyalists, but Aamir prefers his Samsung tab while Salman has a Blackberry Playbook. Will Uday’s enthusiasm rub on to Aamir this time?
