Bright and Sunny for Esha

While we are all very happy for Esha Gupta who has been signed on for Prakash Jha’s next venture Chakravyuh, what is of actual intrigue to us is the question of how she managed to wriggle out of her three-film contract with the Bhatts. It may be recalled how Sunny Leone, on a similar contract, was denied even the opportunity of doing an item number for Ram Gopal Varma’s Department.
“Esha’s contract isn’t an exclusive one, allowing her to work on other films as well,” says a trade source, while another expert suggests the whole episode might have been a farce to generate publicity. “Who really knows what transpired between Ramu and the Bhatts? Maybe they never even discussed Sunny’s contract. All these talks about the contracts playing spoilsport may just be helping the PR exercise of the leading ladies here,” the expert says.
All’s well that ends well, we suppose.
