Cannes release for Preity’s film
Preity Zinta has been patiently waiting for the release of her debut production Ishqk In Paris for over a year now. But now it seems that the long wait will finally come to an end in the month of May. Buzz is that talks are on to premiere the film at the Cannes Film Festival.
The film has been stalled by a series of eventualities over the past one year. Director Prem Soni was diagnosed with cancer and Preity refused to release the film in his absence. But things seem to be looking up now. A source close to Prem says, “It’s a great feeling to know that our film will get such a huge and respectable platform for the premiere. We are keeping our fingers crossed. Hope this time it goes well.”
Insiders say that French actress Isabel Adjani, who stars in the film, proposed the Cannes idea to Preity.
Well, good things do come to those who wait.
