A change in the wedding plans

Last year in December, there were strong rumours that Nargis Fakhri would be tying the knot with beau Uday Chopra this April. But now there seems to be a change in plans.

The Rockstar actress suddenly has her calendar choc-a-bloc with work. Hence the wedding has been postponed indefinitely, according to sources.
It’s not just films that are keeping Nargis busy. The brand value of the actress seems to be growing by the day. Recently, she was signed as brand ambassador by a retail brand for a whopping `4 crore. Hence her brand commitments are expected to keep her busy till next year. As far as films are concerned, Nargis is working on John Abraham’s Madras Cafe and Uday, on the other hand, is currently busy with Dhoom 3 that is expected to release at the end of the year.
A source close to the Chopras says, “The wedding is not happening anytime soon. Uday and Nargis are very much a couple but the wedding preparations won’t start before the release of Dhoom 3.” But there is no clarity on the matter yet.
Let’s hope the Chopras don’t delay this family band baaja baaraat for too long.
