Chitrangada feels secure

Chitrangada Singh is on a high, after the success of her latest release Yeh Saali Zindagi. She feels that she is finally getting her due and marriage hasn’t affected her career in any way.

“Our society has changed and that is reflecting in our films. People are looking at it as a job; it is a job to look desirable, to be the leading lady of the film. How would it matter if Rani or Vidya were married when they did Jessica? I have always said that Malaika is the hottest thing; and her son is seven years old. If you are desirable, you are. Period. It doesn’t matter if you are married or single or divorced etc. The whole idea of women being virginal has gone out of the window,” she asserts. — BNS
