Aditya Roy Kapur’s Afro might have been the best thing to come out of Action Replayy. However, in his most recent box office outings — Aashiqui 2 and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani — ARK chose to tame the curls. Now the actor has gone a step ahead and nearly sheared off all his locks.

Photos of ARK’s new haircut (inset) were displayed on a gossip website on Monday, speculating that it was possibly his look for a new film with Vishesh Bhatt. However, since the film isn’t intended to go on the floors until January, this seems unlikely.
In fact, ARK’s film under the YRF banner, co-starring Parineeti Chopra and helmed by Habib Faisal may just go into production before Vishesh’s. Last heard, the youngest Kapur lad had jetted off to Bangkok to shoot for an ad film. So is the new haircut a remnant of this?
With ARK having tried 112 different hairstyles for Aashiqui 2, we’re thinking the actor’s using his time between projects to experiment.
