Confused? Who, Prateik?

Gone are the days when young men knew their minds! After much hesitation over whether he would or would not be playing the lead in Milan Talkies, Prateik Babbar has finally assented to the project, being produced by Balaji Motion Pictures.

Confirms Tigmanshu Dhulia, the director of Milan Talkies, “Yes, the film is finally on track, and is being made with Prateik in the lead.” Tigmanshu however, is less forthcoming on the subject of why Prateik was reluctant. The buzz in the industry is that while Prateik was quite kicked about playing the role of a “small-town boy from UP who engages in video piracy”, he wanted to see the final script — which Tigmanshu didn’t have ready. “These are all worthless allegations,” says an irritated Tigmanshu. All we can say is where there’s smoke, there’s always a fire. Over to you Prateik? — JT
